Welcome to the RK Post Playmat Collection!
RK Post is a Magic: the Gathering artist with a long career and many illustrated cards behind him. He has been contributing art to the game since the Exodus and is still active as an artist.
This is the first project of this kind for RK Post, and if there is a lot of interest, it won’t be the last. In front of you are some of his most popular Magic artwork in the form of officially licensed playmats and prints. Enjoy!
The RK Post Playmat Collection is offering you initially 10 different playmats to choose from and make your game more enjoyable.
Each Playmat has the following features:
- Standard and Premium Stitched Edge Options – We decided to offer you the option to choose edges on your playmats and make them even more special. You can do this through your backer survey after the project ends.
- Minimal Logos – Logos are necessary but minimizing their impact on art is something we did in collaboration with UltraPro and Wizards. That way, the art can be front and center of any playmat.
- Unique Signature Stamp – RK Post is designing a unique hand stamp just for this project. Each playmat will be hand-stamped and the stamp will be destroyed after the project is over. This will be a Kickstarter exclusive
The RK Post Playmat Collection offers you initially 10 different prints to choose from.
Each Print has the following features:
- Limited edition – These amazing Giclee prints can be bought only via Kickstarter. Don’t waste your time – make your living space more beautiful.
- Exceptional Quality – Prints will be printed on Giclee paper which offers an extremely high level of quality and longevity using archival materials and cutting-edge print technology.
- Signed and numbered – These exquisite prints will be even more distinctive because each one will be appropriately signed and numbered. Purchase one of the first prints for yourself right away.

If some of your favorite art is not among these 10, don’t worry. If we meet our stretch goals, there will be more artwork.
With each stretch goal, another artwork will be unlocked. Some are already waiting for you, some will be chosen by you via survey. So don’t forget to vote and be part of this amazing project.
Each design is available with a Standard and a Stitched Edge.
Please note that shipping is not included in the price of Rewards and Add-ons.
Want to make your own bundle of playmats and/or prints, or want a certificate of authenticity to accompany your choices? No problem.
Just select an adequate add-on with your reward, and you will be able to select what you want in your Backer survey.

With every unlocked goal, there will be artwork already revealed or a link to the survey. Don’t forget to vote and be part of this amazing project.
On each 50k and 100k will be a new crowd favorite and in between each, on 25k, the runner-up from the previous vote.

We decided not to create a Retailer Pledge because by handling wholesale orders directly we can offer you a better price instead of losing a cut to Kickstarter.

Shipping will be charged after the project ends, when Kickstarter’s surveys are sent out.
Shipping cost will be based on the combined weight of all Rewards plus packing materials. We are managing fulfillment with the aim of reducing shipping costs for backers as much as possible.
Please Do Not Include the Cost of Shipping In Your Pledge – Your shipping cost will be calculated and charged when you complete your Backer Survey.
Because this is the first project we are managing, shipping will only be available in the US.

You will be contacted with your options for buying from a regional vendor. At the moment we can confirm that we will have regional vendors in the EU, Japan and Canada. However the list is not final and we are looking to work with vendors in other regions.
